Al-Jouf Agricultural signs MoU with Korea’s EGG on potato seed production

Al-Jouf Agricultural Development Co. signed a 180-day memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Korea-based E Green Global (EGG) on Jan. 22, to transfer the technology of potato seed production, with an aim to boost local production.

 

According to a statement to Tadawul, the MoU includes conducting the necessary studies to establish a partnership between the two companies, for the production of seeds in Saudi Arabia to fulfill the company's sales requirements in the local and foreign markets.

 

The MoU was signed under the umbrella and sponsorship of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, the statement added.
