Al-Jouf Agricultural Development Co.'s French fries factory will work at its maximum production capacity of 35,000 tons annually, as the company seeks to acquire a market share of at least 12% in Saud Arabia, CEO Mazen Badawood told Argaam.
He added that the French fries market shows strong growth annually, with an estimated size of nearly 300,000 tons and a value of approximately SAR 1.9 billion in the Kingdom.
The factory’s production capacity can be increased to 53,000 tons annually, the top executive said.
Al-Jouf Agricultural announced on Dec. 17 the start of commercial production at its Al-Jouf-based French fries factory. The relevant financial impact will likely be reflected on the company’s financials starting from Q1 2024, according to data available with Argaam.
