Saudi Arabia seeks to host Expo 2030 in Riyadh to provide an unprecedented edition in the history of this event for a better future for humanity, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said.
The Kingdom aims for the participation of African countries to underscore the continent’s important role and its human resources.
This came during the Crown Prince’s speech at the Saudi-African Summit in Riyadh.
In June, Saudi Arabia officially submitted in Paris its bid to host Expo 2030 in Riyadh, Argaam earlier reported.
the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) has received candidature dossiers from the Republic of Korea (Busan), Italy (Rome), Ukraine (Odesa) to organize World Expo 2030.
The host country will be elected by member states of BIE during the Organization’s 173rd General Assembly, taking place by the end of November.
