Alkhaleej Training and Education Co. announced the opening and start of trial operation of Rowad Al Khaleej International Schools complex in Al Khobar, starting from the academic year 2023/2024, according to a statement to Tadawul today, Nov. 9.

The new educational complex is located in Al Bahr District, Al Khobar, on a land area of 17,123 square meters (sqm) and a built-up area of 22,156 sqm.

It follows the US curriculum under the supervision of the Ministry of Education for the kindergarten, primary, middle and secondary levels for boys and girls.

Designed and equipped with the best modern education technical specifications, the complex can accommodate more than 2,000 students, Alkhaleej Training said.

The related financial impact will likely be reflected in the financial results as of the fiscal year (FY) 2023/2024, the company noted.

It highlighted that the educational complex is considered an extension of the company’s expansion in the Eastern Province, following the successful experience of schools in Dammam, which reached its maximum capacity.

This is part of the company's strategic plans that aim to expand the schools sector by establishing and acquiring schools in all regions of the Kingdom to increase the student count and generate growth and returns that align with the company's strategy.

The number of students in all of Alkhaleej Training schools and the schools it acquired in Riyadh, Jeddah, and the Eastern Province has reached approximately 11,000 males and females, according to the statement.
