stc Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Red Sea Global, aimed at bolstering the Kingdom’s digital transformation and equipping tourist sites on the Red Sea coast with the latest telecom technologies and sustainable digital services.

Through the agreement, stc seeks to strengthen digital and technical transformation in major projects in Saudi Arabia, according to a statement picked up by Argaam.

Under the deal, stc, being the communications service provider in the Red Sea and Amala projects, will provide both indoor and outdoor coverage solutions. The group will work to provide advanced telecom solutions, including the provision of fixed mobile convergence services equipped with 5G technologies and indoor coverage, in addition to connecting to the group's private data centers.

This cooperation outstrips the provision of connectivity, as both parties have developed smart services to enhance digital experiences, including charging electric vehicles (EVs) using vehicle management system (VMS), maritime security command center, a Red Sea Global reservation engine, and call center services. In addition, stc will enable customers to benefit from the WiFi network automatically.
