International oil rig count falls in October: Baker Hughes

Oil drilling rigs

The international rig count decreased by 17 units month-on-month (MoM) in October to 1,777, data from energy services firm Baker Hughes showed.

 

The oil rigs in the Middle East rose 10 units MoM to 337 and 11 year-on-year (YoY).

 

Meanwhile, the international oil and gas rig count, except for the US and Canada, decreased by 22 units MoM to 962.
