SICO Capital announced that the public offering of SICO Kingdom Equity Fund began today, Nov. 1, and will run until Dec. 31, 2023.
SICO Kingdom Equity Fund is an open-ended public investment fund with an unlimited term. It invests in Saudi stocks and aims to achieve long-term capital appreciation.
SICO Capital aims for the fund size to hypothetically reach SAR 300 million from the offering process. It will start operating on Jan. 1, 2024. If the minimum threshold of SAR 10 million to start operations is collected before this date, the fund manager can conclude the initial offering period and launch the fund.
Last September, the Capital Market Authority (CMA) approved the public offering of SICO Kingdom Equity Fund.

The fund aims to invest in shares of companies listed on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) and Nomu-Parallel Market. This is in addition to primary and secondary public offerings, rights issue shares, and other public offerings on Tadawul.
The fund focuses its investments on a selected group of shares of Tadawul-listed companies or in other investment funds with objectives and strategies similar to its, which invest in the Saudi markets and are licensed by the CMA.
The fund may invest in capital and Murabaha instruments as well as funds licensed by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) or managed by the fund manager, if there are favorable investment opportunities.
