Maharah inks MoC with Tourism Ministry to support localization

Maharah Human Resources Co. signed with the Ministry of Tourism a non-binding memorandum of cooperation (MoC) to provide employment services for Saudis, with an aim to promote localization in the tourism sector.

The collaboration aims to achieve mutual and common goals and provide job opportunities for Saudi citizens in the tourism sector, in addition to providing a training path aimed at enhancing the skills of Saudi employees in the tourism industry.

In a statement to Tadawul, Maharah pointed out that the memorandum term is 24 months from the date of signing. The company plans to attract and employ Saudi talents, through searching for Saudi qualified cadres and conducting interviews.

The financial impact of the deal is expected from Q1 2024 until the end of the memorandum term. This will be subject to the number of Saudi talents acquired and employed in the tourism sector.

One of Maharah’s branches will be assigned to work on the implementation of this memorandum, the statement added, noting that there are no related parties to the deal.
