Maaden reappoints Yasir Al-Rumayyan as Chairman, names Khalid Al-Mudaifer Vice Chairman

Saudi Arabian Mining Co.’s (Maaden) board reappointed, on Oct. 30, Yasir Al-Rumayyan (non-executive member) as a Chairman, and appointing Khalid Al-Mudaifer (non-executive member) as Vice Chairman, according to a statement to Tadawul.

 

The board also appointed Effat Badib as the board secretary, to form the Nominations and Remuneration Committee.

 

The committee includes Abdullah Jumah (independent member) as Chairman, as well as Ahmed Al-Hakbani (independent member), Richard O’Brien (non-executive member), Johan Brand (non-board member), and Hamad Al-Humaidi (non-board member) as committee members.

 

The Executive Committee was also formed, including Mohammed Al-Qahtani (non-executive member) as Chairman, Richard O’Brien (non-executive member), Sofia Bianchi (non-executive member), Nabila Al-Tunisi (independent member), and Mohammed Al Dawood (non-board member).

 

The Safety and Sustainability Committee was formed, including Nabila Al-Tunisi (independent member) as Chairman, Abdallah Jum’ah (independent member), and Ganesh Kishore (non-executive), Muhammed Al-Qahtani (non-executive member).
