Ray Dalio, the founder of one of the world's largest hedge funds, Bridgewater Associates
Ray Dalio, the founder of one of the world's largest hedge funds, Bridgewater Associates, expressed pessimism about the global economy in the upcoming year.
At the Future Investment Initiative (FII) in Riyadh, the billionaire expressed pessimism, citing critical and political aspects prone to conflict.
He also noted significant potential in innovations and developments that are capable of bringing great advancements but can also pose problems.
“When you look at the time horizon, the monetary policies we're witnessing will have a significant impact on the world. Looking at the global disparities, it's difficult to be optimistic about it,” he added.
