In July, the Ministry of Industry started assessing the second phase of the Future Factories Program, which targets 260 factories as per SIRI. The ministry pointed out that the second phase focuses on verifying the results of the factories' self-assessment. It targets factories that have achieved an advanced level in the self-assessment according to SIRI standards, at a score rate of 2.14.

Launched in July 2022, the Future Factories Program aims to transform 4,000 Saud-based factories from relying on poorly skilled workers with low pay to automation and manufacturing efficiency. This is in order to raise the competitiveness and quality of the national industry and contribute to creating quality jobs for national cadres.
