Red Sea Global to revamp Al Wajh Airport in Tabuk

Red Sea Global (RSG) disclosed the inaugural project in its expanded portfolio, which includes the refurbishment of Al Wajh Airport (EJH), located in North Tabuk.

 

In a statement, the company added that the project is to primarily modernize the airport in line with international standards. Further, a new international terminal will be built, and its designs will be revealed soon.

 

The developments will make EJH a gateway for the Amaala destination. The airport will become a new base of operations for Fly Red Sea, the Kingdom’s first seaplane company.

 

As part of the modernization efforts at EJH, four SAUDIA-operated flights will be redirected from EJH to Red Sea International Airport (RSI), from Riyadh and Madinah.
