Tadawul trading screen
The Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) witnessed no transactions on single stock futures (SSFs) contracts today, Oct. 1.
One transaction was carried out on 100 contracts of Saudi Kayan November 23 futures, at SAR 12.65, a decline of SAR 0.5 a contract compared to yesterday’s settlement price.
The other deal was performed on Al Rajhi Bank November 23 futures, on 100 contracts, at SAR 68.45 each, a decline of SAR 0.85 a contract compared to yesterday’s settlement price.
On July 4, 2022, Tadawul launched SSF contracts, which will be cleared by the Securities Clearing Center Co. (Muqassa).
The SSF is an agreement where the buyer and seller complete a transaction at a specified date in the future. The SSF value is based on the value of underlying shares (underlying asset). These contracts are settled in cash.
