Peter Rawlinson, CEO of Lucid Motors Group
Lucid Motors is currently delivering the electric vehicles (EVs) assembled at its plant in Saudi Arabia to customers, said CEO Peter Rawlinson.
The plant is currently assembling the parts imported from the main factory in Arizona, the US, Rawlinson told reporters on the sidelines of opening the first Lucid plant in Saudi Arabia.
He added that the company targets manufacturing the EV parts in Saudi Arabia. "What is most important is what will be manufactured by the plant after three years from now," the CEO noted.
Lucid Group, which is partly owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), opened on Sept. 27 its first EV factory in Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC), Argaam reported.
