Halwani Bros names Amr Farghal as CEO

Halwani Bros. Co.'s board of directors approved, on Sept. 26, the appointment of Amr Farghal as CEO as of Oct. 15, the company said in a statement to Tadawul. 

 

Farghal obtained a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering in 1989 and held several leadership positions throughout his career, which extends to more than 30 years, in Asia, India, the Middle East, Central and Eastern Europe, Russia, CIS countries, and Africa. 

 

Farghal’s most recent position was CEO of Americana Foods, the statement added.

 

In March 2023, the company’s board approved Thamer Temairik’s resignation from the CEO position and the board membership, Argaam earlier reported.

 

Fawaz Halwani was appointed as Acting CEO as of April 1.
