Saudi Ceramics names Azzam Al-Mudaihim as CEO after Majed Al-Issa resigns

Saudi Ceramic Co.’s (Saudi Ceramics) board of directors approved, on Sept. 4, the resignation of CEO Majed Al-Issa for personal reasons, effective from Sept. 17, 2023.

 

Al-Issa will continue as a board and executive committee member, the company said in a statement on Tadawul.

 

Meanwhile, the board approved the appointment of Azzam Al-Mudaihim as CEO effective from Sept. 17. 

  

Al-Mudaihim has more than 25 years of experience in the business sector and held several leadership positions in a number of companies, most notably as CEO of Abu Nayyan Trading Co. and Shaker Group. He also held other positions and membership in several boards of directors, the company noted. 

  

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from King Saud University, and a number of specialized certifications.
