Shares of Dar Al Arkan Real Estate Development Co. (Dar Al Arkan) closed today's (Aug. 9) session 3% higher at SAR 17.47, recording their highest levels since June 2009. 

 

A total of 7.3 million shares were exchanged.

 

Dar Al Arkan was founded on July 18, 2000, before being converted into a joint stock firm by a ministerial decree on July 17, 2005. The company was listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) in December 2007.

 

The company’s business portfolio includes buying and owning properties, as well as developing, selling and renting land plots. This is in addition to the wholesale and retail trade of sanitary ware, building materials, electricity kits, paints and stationery, along with auto sale activities.
