Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz


King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued a royal order today, Aug. 8, appointing Tawfig Al-Rabiah as Chairman of the General Authority for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque.

 

Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais was also named as Head of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, at rank of minister.

 

The Saudi Cabinet approved today the establishment of an independent body for the religious affairs of the General Presidency of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, Argaam reported.
