NADEC signs MoU with United Feeds to explore establishing livestock project

National Agricultural Development Co. (NADEC) signed on Aug. 2 a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with United Feeds Co. to explore cooperation in establishing a livestock project specialized in sheep and goats, according to a Tadawul statement.

 

The one-year MoU sets a general framework for cooperation between the two parties to conduct studies and evaluations of livestock breeding markets in the sheep and goat sector locally and regionally.

 

This is to develop a strategic road map utilizing the latest technologies for intensive breeding and sector organization by applying global best practices, the statement said.

 

The collaboration aims to contribute to livestock development and enhance food security in the Kingdom. Additionally, the parties seek to build high-tech farms to ensure sustainability and product availability while maintaining the highest product quality standards for consumers and providing appropriate choices.

 

Substantial developments in this regard will be announced in due course, and the financial impact will be determined later.

 

There are no related parties to the deal, the statement added.

 

United Feeds is a limited liability company specializing in the fields of purchasing, processing, storing, packaging, and distributing grain and barley products for animal feed use.
