Zoujaj names Walid Afyouni as CEO

The National Company for Glass Industries’ (Zoujaj) board of directors decided, on July 26, to appoint Walid Afyouni as CEO, effective as of the decision date. 

 

In a statement to Tadawul, the company pointed out that Afyouni has more than 25 years of experience in industry.   

 

He held several leadership positions, namely PET & EBM Unit General Manager at Zamil Plastic Industries, Business Development Regional Director in the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey for UAE’s ALPLA Co., and the Managing Director and a board member of Egypt’s New Modern Plast Co. 

 

The CEO holds a bachelor's degree in management from the University of New South Wales, Australia, and several specialized certificates in the field of business development, the statement added.
