Real estate transactions in Saudi Arabia hit 1.6 mln last year

Real estate transactions reached 1.59 million since the beginning of 1444 Hirji (July 30, 2022). Registration transactions accounted for 27.4% of the total.

 

The total number of registration transactions reached 433,321, according to Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper.

 

Riyadh came on top in terms of transaction registration, accounting for 617,185 deals, or 39% of the total. Makkah came second with 275,883, followed by the Eastern Province (194,053), Aseer (116,608) and Al-Qassim (107,339).

 

Hail registered 602,230 real estate transactions, followed by Madinah (593,330), Jazan (405,610), Al-Jouf (318,200), Tabuk (286,530), Najram (189,880) and Northern Borders (177,280).

 

Al-Baha came last with 164,520.
