Edarat inks SAR 5.4 mln cloud services contract with PwC

Edarat Communication and Information Technology Co. signed today, July 6, a three-yearcontract worth SAR 5.4 million with PricewaterhouseCoopers Advisory Limited (PwC).

 

The contract is expected to have a positive impact on its financial statements in Q3 2023, Edarat said in a statement to Tadawul, noting that there are no related parties to the deal.

 

Edarat will provide cloud services for PwC as part of a digital transformation program for an enterprise in Saudi Arabia.

 

Moreover, Edarat will provide Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Backup as a Service (BaaS) across two regions in the Kingdom. The primary environment will be in Riyadh and the disaster recovery in Jeddah to cater for IT continuity, resilience and data sovereignty.
