The General Directorate of Passports announced the arrival of 1.50 million pilgrims to perform Hajj this year until June 21.

In a statement, the directorate stated that 1.44 million pilgrims came to the Kingdom through airports, including 230,170 beneficiaries of the Makkah Route initiative. In addition, 59,740 and 4,714 pilgrims came through land and sea ports, respectively.

Saudi agencies seek to ensure that the arrival of pilgrims takes place in a safe and smooth manner.

In January, Saudi Arabia's Minister of Hajj and Umrah Tawfig Al Rabiah announced that Saudi Arabia would receive more than two million Hajjis this year, as reported earlier by Argaam.
