Shell signed an agreement, on June 20, with ASYAD Holding Group, under the patronage of the Ministry of Energy, to open Shell-branded fuel stations in Saudi Arabia.

Ministry of Energy said in a statement that the first gas stations are expected to open in the fourth quarter of this year in Riyadh.

The step is a result of the efforts by the Executive Committee of Service Centers and Gas Stations, which seeks to develop the sector, through international companies.
