Saudi Arabia-based flynas, a 37%-owned affiliate of Kingdom Holding Co., signed an agreement with Airbus to purchase 30 A320neo family aircraft for more than SAR 14 billion.
The agreement was signed during the Paris Airshow 2023, the low-cost carrier said in a statement.
flynas CEO and Managing Director, Bandar Almohanna, said this agreement is part of an order for 120 Airbus planes at a total value of over SAR 32 billion. This comes as part of the airline’s plan to boost its fleet after obtaining the board’s approval for raising the order to 250 planes.
flynas fleet grew by over 92% in two years.
The Saudi carrier has a fleet of 32 A320neos, 13 A320ceos, and four A330-300s.
