MEPCO says favorable preliminary ruling issued in real estate lawsuit

Middle East Paper Co. (MEPCO) announced that Jeddah General Court issued a preliminary ruling, on June 18, in its favor, dismissing the plaintiff’s lawsuit claiming real estate ownership proof.

 

In a statement to Tadawul, MEPCO said it was not possible to determine the expected date for the completion of the event, stressing its commitment to the company’s and its shareholders’ interests.

 

According to Argaam’s data, in October 2022, MEPCO revealed that a real estate lawsuit was filed by Al Shorouk Advanced Development Co. against the company to demand real estate ownership proof, although a final court ruling was issued in favor of MEPCO.
