As many as 39,100 Saudi families benefited from all housing options and financing solutions provided electronically by Sakani Program to its beneficiaries via easy and flexible procedures. Further, the number of families who received their first homes reached 43,700.
In May, 8,809 families were beneficiaries of the program, while 7,831 others moved into their first homes, after leveraging the optional support packages provided by Sakani to Saudi families. This is as part of the continuous efforts to support local homeownership, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported, citing a press release by the program.
Such packages provide the beneficiary with flexible and multiple solutions. This is by offering immediate non-refundable support to the beneficiaries of ready-made, under construction and self-construction housing units, in partnership with the Real Estate Development Fund (REDF) and financing bodies, including banks, financing institutions and real estate developers, the program added.
These packages and various options come from Sakani's belief in the continuity of housing support and the importance of diversifying financing and housing options to accelerate the pace of Saudi families' homeownership, the program also noted.
