The trade exchange between Saudi Arabia and UK exceeded SAR 80 billion in 2022, a jump of more than 68% year-on-year (YoY), Saudi Press Agency reported, citing Minister of Commerce, Majid Al Qasabi.

This underpinned that Saudi Arabia sees UK as a major trade partner, Al Qasabi added.

Under Vision 2030, Saudi Arabia is keen on cementing the mutual economic ties with UK, while enhancing communication and business relations, Al Qasabi indicated on the sidelines of the UK Saudi Business, Trade and Partnership Forum, organized by the Saudi British Joint Business Council (SBJBC) in London. This forum can help the private sector eliminate hurdles to undertake project expansions and boost the mutual trade exchange, Al Qasabi noted.
