MSCI Inc., the provider of research-based indexes and analytics, implements today, May 31, the changes according to its quarterly review of its indices carried out on May 12.
As per the requirements of global index managers, the changes will be implemented today during the closing auction and trade-at-last sessions.
Saudi Aramco Base Oil Co. (Luberef) was recently added to MSCI Saudi Arabia Standard Index, bringing up the total number of index constituents to 40.
Meanwhile, the index compiler added Al-Saif Stores for Development and Investment Co. (Alsaif Gallery) and Riyadh Cables Co. to MSCI Saudi Arabia Small Cap Index, raising the number of the index constituents to 72.
