Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) worked on the national data governance, while developing legislations and policies regulating this data, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported, citing Mashari Al-Mashari, SDAIA Deputy Director of the National Information Center.
SDAIA, through Estishraf Platform, provided advanced data analysis services to more than 85 government entities, created opportunities and generated over SAR 50 billion in revenue.
SDAIA opted to adopt an open data policy via a special platform, as this will likely reflect positively on economy as well as the digital transformation process.
SDAIA developed several smart solutions in the fields of energy, transport, health and security, and worked to build a national platform for smart cities, aligning with Vision 2030, in addition to providing operational indicators that support service providers, and monitor services to boost the quality of life.
Al-Mashari underpinned SDAIA’s efforts to enhance the implementation of the government's digital transformation, as well as the data and AI services across the Kingdom to improve the quality of services for citizens and residents, and ensure efficient government spending.
