The Idle Lands Program announced the issuance of invoices for undeveloped land fees for the year 1444/1445 AH for the first round in Qassim region (Buraydah and Unaizah) and Hail city.
In a press release, the program called on the landowners to pay the fee or develop the land within a year from the date of issuance of the decision.
The program seeks to increase the real estate supply of developed lands and reduce monopoly by motivating the landowners to develop their lands within the grace period to benefit from the provided support mechanisms.
This will result in accelerating the pace of Idle Lands’ development.
On the other hand, failure to pay the payable invoices within the set deadline will entail a fine that reaches up to 100% of the fee value, in addition to the original fees, the program noted.
In January, the program announced the issuance of invoices for undeveloped land fees for the year 1444/1445 AH for the seventh round in Riyadh, Dammam and Jeddah, in addition to the sixth round in Makkah and the first round in Tabuk and Al-Ahsa, Argaam earlier reported.
