The National Center for Privatization & PPP (NCP) published a list of 200 projects approved for privatization in diverse sectors.

The list will allow local and international investors to know more about Saudi Arabia’s privatization projects before they are officially put on the market.

Minister of Finance and NCP’s Chairman Mohammed Al-Jadaan confirmed that disclosing these projects represents promising opportunities for local and international investors within the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which enhances investments in the national economy and provides attractive investment opportunities for the private sector.

He said these projects enhance the partnership between the public and private sectors and contribute to attracting new foreign investments.

The minister called on the local private sector to seize the announced opportunities.

NCP CEO Muhannad Basudan said that the details of the series of privatization projects for each sector will be available to investors sequentially and continuously on the websites of NCP, the Ministry of Investment, and the concerned sector.

He added that the Ministry of Investment will act as a marketing partner and enabler to attract investors.

Information of 140 projects has been published, while the rest will be published during the coming period, Basudan said, adding the current series of projects come as the result of organized and accumulated efforts made by NCP with the sectors to enhance partnership between the public and private sectors.

Al-Jadaan stated last month that the pace of the privatization program in the Kingdom is accelerating, as the series of current projects includes about 200 projects in 17 sectors, with investments exceeding $50 billion. Work is underway to evaluate 300 projects, according to data available with Argaam.
