Wafrah CEO resigns, Mohammed Al-Fadley takes helm

Wafrah for Industry and Development Co.’s board of directors approved, on March 27, the resignation of its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Khaled Alshammari as of March 31.

 

Alshammari resigned due to personal reasons, the company said in a statement. 

  

Meanwhile, the board decided to appoint Mohammed Al-Fadley as the company’s CEO, based on the Remuneration and Nomination Committee’s recommendation, the statement said. 

  

Al-Fadley will take charge from April 1. 

  

Al-Fadley holds a bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences from King Saud University and a master’s in business administration from the same university. 

  

Previously, he worked with Saudi Pharmaceutical Industries Co. (SPIMACO) as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. 

  

In addition, he chaired the board of ARAC Healthcare, a SPIMACO subsidiary.
