Digital economy in Saudi Arabia will be worth more than $50 billion, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 20%, Khaled Al-Dhaher, Vice Governor of Supervision and Technology at the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), said.

“The Saudi financial sector is very solid, well-regulated and creates opportunities in different sectors,” he added during a panel session at the second edition of the Financial Sector Conference today, March 15.

Data is very important. It should be used, regulated and protected, Al-Dhaher added, noting that regulations currently provide this.
