Tony Douglas CEO of Riyadh Air
The Public Investment Fund (PIF) appointed today, March 12, Tony Douglas as CEO of the newly established national carrier Riyadh Air, which will operate from the Saudi capital.
Douglas brings more than 40 years of experience in aviation, transportation, and logistics services.
Douglas, a British national, served as the CEO of Etihad Aviation Group from January 2018 to October 2022. He led the company’s plan to optimize costs, streamline operations and enhance its network.
He previously joined Britain's Defence Equipment and Support organization and was also the CEO at Abu Dhabi Airports and Abu Dhabi Ports.
