Edarat signs SAR 6.5 mln contract with MIS to provide cloud services

Edarat Communication and Information Technology Co. (Edarat) signed a contract worth SAR 6.5 million, on March 9, with Al Moammar Information Systems Co. (MIS), for cloud hosting services, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.

 

The contract will offer private cloud services for a government entity while meeting data sovereignty regulations.

 

The cloud services cover the needed infrastructure to host the governmental entities main applications. 

 

The contract will be valid for three years and is expected to positively impact the company’s financials as of 2023, the statement added.

 

MIS is a related party to the contract.
