BIE delegation visit to proposed Expo 2030 site
The delegation of Bureau International des Expositions (BIE), accompanied by CEO of the Royal Commission for Riyadh City Fahd Al-Rasheed, visited the proposed site of the Riyadh Expo 2030.
The delegation reviewed the master plan of the site, which spreads over six million square meters, Saudi Press Agency reported.
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received in Riyadh BIE President Patrick Specht and his accompanying delegation, where they reviewed the Kingdom's bid to host Expo 2030.
On Nov. 29, 2022, Saudi Arabia submitted a bid to host Expo 2030 in Riyadh to the BIE, the governing body of the World Expo. The Kingdom presented its file to organize Expo 2030 in the Saudi capital, along with other candidates South Korea (Busan), Italy (Rome) and Ukraine (Odessa), Argaam earlier reported.
