Tihama says Riyadh court to look into appeal by GAC on May 3

Tihama Advertising and Public Relations Co. received today, March 9, a notification for a session to be held on May 3 by the Administrative Court of Appeal in Riyadh to consider the appeal filed by the General Authority for Competition (GAC) against the ruling issued by the Riyadh court.

 

The Administrative Court of Appeal in Riyadh’s ruling stipulated the upholding of the Committee for Adjudication of Competition Law Violations’ decision on the dismissal of the case filed against Tihama and the rejection of GAC’s appeal, according to a statement to Tadawul.

 

Tihama also noted that it is too early to determine the financial impact of the case, adding that it will be announced in due course. The company will announce any material developments in this regard.

 

The company received, on Jan. 12, a notification from the company's lawyer on the upholding of the decision of the Committee for Adjudication of Competition Law Violations and the rejection of the appeal submitted by GAC before Riyadh’s Administrative Court to challenge this decision.
