Zamil Industrial reports fire in subsidiary factory in Dammam

Zamil Industrial Investment Co. said a fire broke out in one of the factories of its subsidiary, Zamil Air Conditioners and Home Appliances Co., in Dammam First Industrial City on March 3, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.

 

The blaze was brought under control due to the prompt actions of the civil defense authorities, as well as personnel in Dammam and Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (Modon).

 

There were no injuries or fatalities.

 

The statement said the factory is insured for such risks and compensation for factory downtime.

 

New developments will be announced in due course.
