MODON lures fresh investments worth over SAR 1 bln

The Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON) signed a number of contracts to localize the Kingdom's food and beverage industry, with total investments amounting to SAR 1.07 billion.

 

In addition, the authority raised the number of food plants to 1,171, spanning a total area of nearly 10 million square meters, by the end of 2022.

 

On the sidelines of its participation in Gulfood 2023 Exhibition held in Dubai from Feb. 20-24, MODON presented its industrial environment, services and products that enable the localization of food industries and help achieve the food security in the Kingdom. This comes in line with the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP) and Vision 2030.
