Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication Co. (GO) fulfilled its obligations regarding the 3.5 GHz band frequency license by deploying network for the second phase, covering 30% of the cities subject to commitment.

In a statement to Tadawul, the telecom operator said it also completed the necessary changes regarding the observations of the Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST) for the first phase of the network rollout obligations.

In September 2022, GO received a letter from CST on accepting the company's fulfilment of network rollout based on the obligations set forth by the telecom regulator according to the frequency spectrum license to provide fixed telecommunication services with infrastructure for the spectrum of the (3500) MHz band granted to it. This is related to Clause A about using the assigned spectrum to cover at least 10% of populated areas in the cities.
