The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) announced today, Feb. 1, that Saudi Arabia won the bid to host the Asian Cup 2027 for the first time in its history.
The announcement came during the 33rd AFC's Congress in Manana, Bahrain.
Following the announcement, Saudi Minister of Sports Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal said that the Asian Cup 2027 has the full support from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince, adding that the championship is a key step ahead in achieving Vision 2030.
