Saudi banks’ investments in treasury bonds increased by SAR 29.6 million year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 510.3 billion in 2022, new data from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) showed.
Accordingly, banks' investments in treasury bonds continue to rise on an annual basis, for the tenth consecutive year, as shown in the following table:
