Wafi says 338,000 units licensed under 490 off-plan sales licenses in 2022

Naif Al-Sharif, Secretary-General of Off-Plan Sales or Rent Program (Wafi) said more than 338,000 real estate units were licensed under over 490 off-plan sales licenses in 2022.

 

Wafi contributed to completing more than 3,400 residential units, which were handed over to beneficiaries, this year, Al-Sharif told Al-Arabiya TV on the sidelines of the Real Estate Future Forum, citing strong interest shown by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

 

He also pointed to an increase in the Ministry of Housing and private sector’s share in off-plan sales to 62% and 22%, respectively.
