ACWA Power Co. started operating projects worth between $8 and $10 billion in 2022, Asharq News reported, citing Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Paddy Padmanathan

Padmanathan stated that the company continues to implement and enhance more capabilities every year, and seeks to develop more projects during 2023.

The company’s projects focus on electric and renewable energy, water desalination and green hydrogen.

The CEO pointed out that all these projects will be developed in the Gulf region, which is rich in all necessary natural resources, capacities, and frameworks, in addition to the political desire and support dedicated for such projects.

In addition to Oman and NEOM projects, ACWA is working on a third green hydrogen project and expects more to be developed in this field.
