The Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing affirms launched the second phase of the transformation and empowerment program for real estate developers.
The program aims to develop the real estate development industry, increase housing supply and strengthening partnership with the private sector in the Kingdom by qualifying more real estate developers, in order to increase the supply of housing units and improve their quality, the state-run SPA reported.
Deputy Minister for Real Estate Development at the Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs, AbdulRahman Al-Tawil, said the program was designed to support the private sector contractors and developers. It will help contractors transform to real estate developers. It will also enhance the performance and capacities of developers by offering various facilities and services.
The program comes as part of the ministry’s efforts to advance the Saudi real estate development industry, Al-Tawil added.
