The French Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Ludovic Pouille, said that his country aims to strengthen economic ties with Riyadh in the coming years and raise the exceptional dialogue between the two countries, especially between French President Emmanuel Macron and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

He indicated that the meeting of French companies with Saudi businessmen helps strengthen the relationship and partnership between the two countries, especially in the field of modern technology, renewable energy, tourism, culture and health.

The French delegation, which consists of 27 companies from the health sector, is eyeing investment opportunities within the framework of Vision 2030, the ambassador told Argaam, on the sidelines of the meeting of the Saudi-French Business Council in Riyadh.

Pouille also revealed that there are more than 150 French companies operating in the Kingdom for more than 30 years in various fields such as energy, tourism, culture and entrepreneurship.

The French delegation is participating with the French Minister of Foreign Trade Olivier Becht, on his first visit to the Kingdom. Several meetings were held with the Saudi Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih and the Minister of Commerce Majid Al-Qasabi in addition to the French-Saudi meetings, said the ambassador.

He added that the economic relationship between the two countries will further be reinforced in the coming years, with the level of exceptional political dialogue to be raised.
