The Ejar Rent Index recorded more than 142,000 lease transactions in November, the rent services e-network said in a statement.
The transactions were recorded in 16 cities covered by the index, noting that the number of housing and commercial rent contracts documented in November reached nearly 110,000 and 32,000, respectively.
Riyadh topped the housing and commercial transactions, accounting for 37% of the total with 53,000 deals.
It was followed by Jeddah with 33,000 deals; Dammam with 9,000; Makkah with 8,500; and Khobar with more than 8,000 transactions.
The other cities together logged about 44,000 housing and commercial transactions.
