PIF achieves 25% return, AUMs grow to SAR 1.980 trln in 2021

The Public Investment Fund (PIF) registered a total return of 25% from its investment pools in 2021, according to the fund’s annual report. 

 

The total return implies the realized and unrealized profits and losses from change in the market capitalization of the investment capital, net profits and dividends.  

 

The return was attributed to the International Strategic Investments, Saudi Equity Holdings and Saudi Sector Development assets.

 

The fund continued to build strong partnerships and investment for the future to achieve sustainable value for all stakeholders across all portfolios.

 

The PIF’s assets under management (AUMs) grew by SAR 436 billion in 2021 to SAR 1.980 trillion, compared to a year earlier.

 

The sovereign wealth fund is the Kingdom’s investment arm, and a key pillar and enabler of Vision 2030.
