Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued today, Oct. 27, a Royal Decree on relieving Abdulrahman Al-Youbi, President of King Abdulaziz University, of his position. Accordingly, the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) will complete the necessary legal procedures against him.

The decision was taken based on Nazaha reports that Al-Youbi misused his power for personal gain, in addition to accusing him of embezzlement from the university, as well as money laundering and forgery.

King Salman also ordered to appoint Prince Fahd bin Muhammad Al Saud as Governor of Al-Kharj, with an excellent rank, and to appoint Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Al-Sheikh as Vice President of the Human Rights Commission, with an excellent rank.
